I began playing Jazz guitar at 22 and quickly discovered the joy of improvisation. A few years later, I earned my degree from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Since then, I've performed thousands of concerts across four continents and recorded several albums.
Learning Jazz in my twenties required efficiency; I focused on both playing and understanding the music deeply. This approach has greatly benefited my teaching and the Jazz guitar lessons I share on YouTube.
The methods I have developed are coming out of years of experience with teaching and breaking down skills like Jazz soloing and comping into practical step-by-step methods.
